Absolutely fine by me. I was more than satisfied with the condition and speed of delivery. I did wonder if due to the age if the items they might be scratched and damaged but no. They cannot be distinguished from my 35 year old set which as I said at time of ordering has only been used for special occasions.

I bought a lovely wooden box of Viners Sable when we first got married and still keep it 'for best', and it will be 40 years old next September, and have only just thought of adding to it. I count it back into the box and last week I lost a dinner fork. I hunted 'high and low' and even 'prayed' to St. Anthony who is the patron saint of lost items, still it didn't turn up, my husband had the dustbin turned upside down, nothing. Then on monday morning, I got a long stick and pushed it under the fridge which is next to the dishwasher and hey ho.............the fork was there. One of my kittens had obviously 'bopped' it under there. So St. Anthony came 'up trumps' once again, and I decided to google Viners Sable and your website came up.

My cutlery has arrived this morning - even the post came early- doesn't usually come until lunch time!  I am absolutely thrilled with it all.  Love the steak knives never seen them before.  All the pieces are beautifully polished - just wondering how you do it.  Having spoken to you the other day I cleaned some of mine but didn't get it up to your standard!
