If a pattern has only been
discontinued for a few months it is possible. If it
has been discontinued for many years it will be in a good
'used' condition or, if we are lucky, it could be an
'unwanted' gift still in its original packing. |

How do I pay for cutlery? |
E-mail your order and you will
be sent an invoice via a PayPal e-mail.
Open the invoice by
clicking on the 'Pay Invoice' button and choose which method
of payment you prefer i.e. PayPal, credit card or personal
cheque. The full mailing address is shown on the
invoice. |
| What if I buy
cutlery I am not happy with? |
Fortunately this is not
something that happens very often as we do not sell cutlery
unless we are sure of a customer's pattern.
We only sell cutlery in a 'new, as new, or good 'used'
condition'. If we have a rare piece that is 'more
used' than our normal stock we will point this out to the
customer before purchase. |

pattern was 'Oneida Venetia' but you say it is 'Oneida Will
O'Wisp'? |
It is the same pattern but as
long as you advise the length of the pieces you need we can
ensure that you receive the correct items. |
| I am not sure if
the knife I need to replace is 'Table' or 'Dessert' size? |
Measure the length from the tip
of the knife to the bottom of the handle on the front with a
steel rule in mms. or cms. |
| I thought my
pattern was Viners Arcadia but it does not have matt
handles? |
This pattern was
made with glossy handles and it called Viners Tempest |
| I do not know the
pattern name of my cutlery? |
Firstly look at our website
under the relevant manufacturer. If it is not shown
please send an image of a few pieces as a .jpg file (no
larger than 640 x 480 pixels) of a few pieces? Also the
wording on the back of a fork |
| Will the pieces I
need always be in stock? |
Hopefully, but if not we will
keep your requirements on file and let you know when they
are back in stock. |
| How long will I
have to wait for items 'out of stock'? |
Once a pattern is discontinued
it is sometimes hard to source so it is not possible to
state how long, but we never give up! |
| What will be the
cost of items not in stock? |
As there is not a recommended
retail price for
discontinued cutlery the selling price is dependent on the
price we have to pay, so we cannot state this until we have
sourced a supply. |
| How do I know how
much to pay if the P&P is not included in the cost of the
cutlery? |
When you place an order we will
e-mail an invoice with a final price including the P&P and
insurance which will depend on the gross weight and value. |

By
credit card on line, PayPal or by

| How is the cutlery
sent and cost? |
If the total value of the
cutlery is under £46.00 we use Royal Mail Letter or Packet
Post. If the value is over £46.00 we use Royal Mail Special
Delivery Next Day service: a signature will be
required upon delivery for this service.
Mailing
worldwide we use Royal Mail Airmail if cutlery is under
46.00 British Pounds in value and International Signed For
Airmail for cutlery over the value of 46.00 British Pounds.
If a parcel weighs over 2 kgs. we use a courier as it is
much cheaper. |
